Exploring Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild presents players with dozens of intricate challenges scattered across vast environments. Among these, the Daka Tuss Shrine tests a player's ability to manipulate physical objects using special rune abilities. Understanding where to find this trial and how to solve its unique mechanics will help streamline your journey through the Lanayru region.

Finding the Daka Tuss Shrine Location

The Daka Tuss Shrine is situated within the Lanayru Tower region, located south-west of the main tower toward the marshy Wetlands. Players can easily reach this spot by gliding south-east from higher terrain or navigating the archipelago bridges. The shrine sits openly on a medium-sized island, meaning no external quest is required to unlock entry.

Solving the First Room Puzzle

Upon entering the shrine, players face the Sunken Scoop trial, which centers around a large pool of water containing ancient orbs. Using the Magnesis rune, lift the heavy metallic scoop from the bottom of the water to catch an orb. Carefully dump the orb into the caged receptacle in the corner to unlock the door to the next chamber.

Clearing the Second Room and Draining the Water

The second room introduces a covered cage along with an underwater pressure switch. Place an orb directly on top of the cage's roof using the metallic scoop. Next, lower the scoop onto the underwater switch to open the roof, allowing the orb to drop inside and drain the water from both rooms.

Unlocking Hidden Rewards and Claiming the Spirit Orb

Before leaving the shrine, double back to the drained pool in the first room. A newly revealed passage leads to a chest containing a Silver Longsword. Finally, head back to the second room's drained area, walk through the lower doorway, and speak with Monk Daka Tuss to receive your Spirit Orb.
